The 2015 Miss ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ Scholarship Pageant and the Princess Program at the University of ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ - Fort Smith have set a Feb. 6. application deadline for those interested in participating in the events.

 

The pageant will take place at 7 p.m. March 14 in the ArcBest Performing Arts Center at 55 S. 7th St., and the winner automatically qualifies for the Miss ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ Scholarship Pageant.

 

The 2014 Miss ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ Scholarship Pageant featured 24 contestants and awarded more than $19,000 in cash and scholarship awards last year, with Emily McCollom of Fort Smith winning the pageant.

 

The Princess Program, a separate activity, allows girls ages 5-10 to appear on stage during the Miss ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ pageant. Participation for the program costs $100 per child, and girls receive a tiara, tickets to a tea party, a T-shirt, goodie bag, two tickets to the Miss ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ Scholarship Pageant and a group photo with Miss ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ and Miss ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ.
